Join a remote Epic Patient Access support team helping maintain and enhance Cadence and Prelude workflows in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for an experienced Epic analyst who enjoys resolving issues, improving processes, and partnering closely with operations and technology teams to support day-to-day success.
Responsibilities
- Support Epic Cadence and Prelude build, configuration, and ongoing maintenance while following established standards and timelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, defects, and service desk tickets related to Patient Access workflows
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements and review solutions with stakeholders
- Contribute to application upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and documentation efforts
- Participate in go-live and upgrade support as needed to ensure smooth transitions
- Serve as a trusted resource and mentor for team members by sharing knowledge and best practices
- Collaborate with operations, IT, and third-party partners to support integrated workflows and issue resolution
- Work with trainers to help maintain training materials and application-specific resources
- Analyze workflows, data, and technical details to identify opportunities for improvement
- Build strong working relationships across teams and contribute to project meetings and design sessions
Skills
- Active Epic Cadence and Prelude certification
- At least 4 years of healthcare experience
- At least 4 years of experience supporting Epic Patient Access or related client-facing healthcare workflows
- Strong subject matter expertise in relevant Epic applications and operational processes
- Experience supporting revenue cycle processes, metrics, KPIs, and process improvement efforts
- Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up in a shared services environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a consultative approach
- Ability to mentor others and contribute as a team partner
- Experience handling break/fix support, workflow enhancements, testing, and change control
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Epic Welcome, RTE, Hello World, and E-Signature
- Additional Epic certifications, badges, or continued education completion
- Background supporting scheduling, registration, insurance eligibility, or revenue cycle operations
- Experience contributing to medium- or large-scale Epic upgrade initiatives
- Familiarity with client healthcare operations and policies related to revenue cycle functions
