Step into a hands-on Scrum Master role where you’ll help guide agile teams, support product leadership, and strengthen delivery practices across a large-scale environment. This position offers the opportunity to facilitate meaningful agile ceremonies, improve team performance through data-driven insights, and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate core agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning.
- Partner with product leadership to help define objectives, break down work into actionable features, and support story creation and tracking.
- Use agile metrics and reporting to provide meaningful insights that support decision-making and delivery visibility.
- Support backlog refinement, estimation, and prioritization to help teams stay aligned and focused.
- Assist with capacity planning and dependency tracking to improve coordination across teams.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on agile and scrum best practices to help build maturity and consistency.
- Support teams working in scaled agile environments and help remove barriers that may affect delivery.
Skills
- Strong experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Background in facilitating agile ceremonies and supporting team delivery.
- Ability to analyze agile metrics and turn data into actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience with Jira Software and Jira Align.
- Knowledge of backlog refinement, estimation, and capacity planning.
- Experience tracking dependencies and supporting coordinated execution.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and active listening skills.
- Servant leadership mindset with a collaborative and supportive approach.
- Ability to resolve conflict thoughtfully and guide teams through challenges.
- Emotional intelligence, empathy, and a coaching-oriented style.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in scaled agile environments, including SAFe.
- Familiarity with Kanban, Scrumban, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Testing & Integration.
- Previous experience coaching teams in agile practices across different environments.
- Background in product development support.
- Agile certification such as CSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, ICA-ACC, or similar.
- Experience with additional agile tools such as AgileCraft, VersionOne, or TFS.
- Ability to adapt coaching and facilitation approaches to different team needs and working styles.
