JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a high-impact Product Manager role focused on Trust & Safety for a global online marketplace and hospitality platform. In this remote 5+ month contract position, you will help shape products that support safety, reduce risk, and improve the experience for guests, hosts, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive product vision and strategy for Trust & Safety initiatives within the Safety area
  • Partner with engineering, data science, design, operations, and policy teams to align on priorities and delivery
  • Build and maintain a product roadmap and backlog, making thoughtful tradeoffs based on business value and customer impact
  • Set clear goals and measurable success metrics for product work
  • Present roadmap progress, status updates, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify customer pain points and new opportunities, then develop proposals for buy, build, or partner solutions
  • Translate short-term plans into scalable product capabilities that help address safety issues over time
  • Navigate ambiguity and balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical or operational constraints
  • Communicate clearly and influence decisions across a global, cross-functional environment

Skills

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Background in trust, safety, risk, or fraud through product, operations, or engineering work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working on machine learning products or technical product management initiatives
  • Comfort with hypothesis-driven product development and experimentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, time zones, and functions
  • Demonstrated skill in prioritization, planning, and executing in fast-paced environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience influencing senior leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to achieve ambitious goals
  • Experience building alignment during high-stakes tradeoff discussions
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to lead through uncertainty
  • Familiarity with product strategy for complex platform or operational tooling
