This remote opportunity offers the chance to shape semantic data strategies, improve content lifecycle management, and help build AI-ready information ecosystems that support smarter digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and analysis efforts to assess current-state content platforms, semantic architectures, and knowledge graph capabilities.
  • Define target-state architectures, technical roadmaps, and implementation recommendations for modernization initiatives.
  • Design and implement enterprise knowledge graph and ontology solutions that support complex business domains.
  • Develop semantic models, metadata strategies, taxonomies, and knowledge representation standards.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable semantic architectures, implementation plans, and technical backlog items.
  • Guide modernization work involving enterprise content lifecycle management, source-to-schema transformation, and API-driven content delivery.
  • Support migration efforts for knowledge graph platforms, including semantic model and custom application transitions to modern SaaS environments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, ontology teams, architects, and engineering groups to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Advise on RDF-based transformation pipelines, linked data approaches, and cloud-native semantic services.
  • Contribute to monitoring, operational readiness, and production support considerations across integrated platforms.

Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, knowledge engineering, semantic technologies, information architecture, or enterprise content platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ontology modeling, knowledge graph architecture, and semantic data design.
  • Working knowledge of RDF, OWL, SKOS, SPARQL, SHACL, and JSON-LD.
  • Experience with linked data principles and enterprise semantic integration patterns.
  • Proven ability to lead discovery sessions, technical assessments, and architecture discussions.
  • Ability to translate complex business concepts into reusable conceptual and logical models.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to guide both technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise content management platforms.
  • Knowledge of WEMI content lifecycle modeling.
  • Experience migrating knowledge graph platforms to SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with TopBraid or similar graph technologies such as Neo4j, GraphDB, Stardog, or Amazon Neptune.
  • Experience building retrieval-augmented generation and semantic search solutions.
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and cloud-native data services.
  • Experience with Apigee API Management.
  • Background supporting regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or financial services.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, CI/CD, and production readiness practices.
