Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and analysis efforts to assess current-state content platforms, semantic architectures, and knowledge graph capabilities.
- Define target-state architectures, technical roadmaps, and implementation recommendations for modernization initiatives.
- Design and implement enterprise knowledge graph and ontology solutions that support complex business domains.
- Develop semantic models, metadata strategies, taxonomies, and knowledge representation standards.
- Translate business requirements into scalable semantic architectures, implementation plans, and technical backlog items.
- Guide modernization work involving enterprise content lifecycle management, source-to-schema transformation, and API-driven content delivery.
- Support migration efforts for knowledge graph platforms, including semantic model and custom application transitions to modern SaaS environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, ontology teams, architects, and engineering groups to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Advise on RDF-based transformation pipelines, linked data approaches, and cloud-native semantic services.
- Contribute to monitoring, operational readiness, and production support considerations across integrated platforms.
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, knowledge engineering, semantic technologies, information architecture, or enterprise content platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with ontology modeling, knowledge graph architecture, and semantic data design.
- Working knowledge of RDF, OWL, SKOS, SPARQL, SHACL, and JSON-LD.
- Experience with linked data principles and enterprise semantic integration patterns.
- Proven ability to lead discovery sessions, technical assessments, and architecture discussions.
- Ability to translate complex business concepts into reusable conceptual and logical models.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Consultative mindset with the ability to guide both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise content management platforms.
- Knowledge of WEMI content lifecycle modeling.
- Experience migrating knowledge graph platforms to SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with TopBraid or similar graph technologies such as Neo4j, GraphDB, Stardog, or Amazon Neptune.
- Experience building retrieval-augmented generation and semantic search solutions.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and cloud-native data services.
- Experience with Apigee API Management.
- Background supporting regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or financial services.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, CI/CD, and production readiness practices.
