Join a collaborative HR technology team supporting the design, configuration, and delivery of Workday Recruiting and Onboarding solutions that enhance the experience for candidates, employees, recruiters, and business partners. This role offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, partner across HR, IT, Legal, Compliance, and vendor teams, and help shape scalable, secure, and user-friendly talent processes.
Responsibilities
- Configure and support Workday Recruiting and Onboarding functionality, including business processes, security, reporting, testing, and production support.
- Partner with talent acquisition, HR operations, IT, legal, compliance, and vendor teams to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
- Lead or support enhancement planning, design discussions, prototype reviews, and testing efforts for recruiting and onboarding changes.
- Help manage workflows, business rules, notifications, templates, questionnaires, and condition-based logic within Workday.
- Support system validation, regression testing, defect triage, release readiness, and change control activities.
- Assist with security administration concepts and maintain appropriate access controls and confidential data handling practices.
- Evaluate process gaps and identify opportunities to improve automation, usability, compliance, and overall product adoption.
- Create or contribute to documentation, job aids, and training materials that support end users and promote adoption.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and work collaboratively to prioritize and deliver backlog items that align with business goals.
- Support recruiting and onboarding processes related to I-9, E-Verify, and related compliance requirements as needed.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer engineering, human resources, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant Workday technical experience.
- Hands-on experience administering Workday Recruiting and/or Onboarding.
- Strong knowledge of Workday business process configuration, security, reporting, testing, and operational support.
- Experience gathering requirements and turning business needs into practical system designs.
- Understanding of Workday security concepts, including domain and business process security, role-based access, and data privacy.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile or scrum-based environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to data integrity and compliance.
Preferred Skills
- Global Workday configuration experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Workday Recruiting and Onboarding design, including job requisitions, candidate stages, interview steps, offer processes, and application workflows.
- Experience supporting I-9 processes, onboarding administration, journeys, and dynamic job application configuration.
- Familiarity with Jira and the Phenom CRM platform.
- Experience supporting Workday releases, tenant validation, regression testing, and defect management.
- Knowledge of HR functions such as recruiting, staffing, compensation, payroll, and benefits.
- Ability to analyze process improvements and recommend automation or system enhancements.
- Experience developing end-user documentation, training materials, or job aids.
- Comfort working with enterprise software tools and common desktop applications.
