Step into a high-impact project management role focused on critical infrastructure hardware deployments in a fast-paced, technical environment. This remote opportunity offers the chance to coordinate complex initiatives, partner across multiple teams, and help ensure smooth delivery from planning through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployment projects, from initiation and planning through execution, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate schedules, resources, and priorities to support timely delivery while reducing cost and scope risks.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, IT, facilities, network operations, product, and finance.
- Prepare and facilitate daily standup updates to track progress, surface risks, and address blockers.
- Support deployment activities by reviewing design, build, and delivery plans for critical infrastructure and network capacity.
- Review project documentation for consistency, accuracy, and readiness before implementation.
- Identify project risks and help drive practical mitigation strategies in a dynamic environment.
- Conduct hardware availability reviews before deployment starts to support successful execution.
- Organize periodic project meetings, share status updates, and communicate next steps with core teams.
- Develop, improve, and document processes and technical standards to strengthen project execution and support operational needs.
- Coordinate physical asset audits to help maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Manage multiple complex projects at once while keeping timelines, budgets, and priorities aligned.
Skills
- 1-2+ years of project management or program management experience in a professional data center-focused technical environment.
- Experience working with technical products in a data center setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across varied teams and functions.
- Careful attention to detail with the ability to make timely, thoughtful decisions.
- Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones.
- Comfort managing complex, long-term projects within schedule and budget expectations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments effectively.
- Willingness to work hours that align with U.S. time zones as much as possible.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data center hardware deployments.
- Background or exposure to cybersecurity and intelligence-related environments.
- Familiarity with Jira and Microsoft or Google office tools.
- Automation development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach to supporting teams.
- Experience improving processes, documentation, or technical standards.
