Join a high-impact Product Operations team supporting commerce initiatives that help create clear, scalable operating rhythms across planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration. This temporary role is focused on strengthening ways of working, improving portfolio visibility, and building durable processes that the team can continue to use after the engagement ends.
Responsibilities
- Help define and document effective ways of working that support long-term team consistency
- Design, pilot, and refine operating cadences such as planning, OKRs, and QBRs
- Create templates, playbooks, and decision-ready readouts that support leadership and team alignment
- Build and maintain portfolio-level processes for intake, prioritization, roadmap tracking, and launch-calendar visibility
- Keep stakeholders informed of key dates, changes, and dependencies across Product, Engineering, and partner teams
- Establish a clear single source of truth for plans, decisions, and active workstreams
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual effort through smarter systems, workflows, and automation
- Document recommendations that improve operational effectiveness across the product development lifecycle
Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Product Operations, Business Operations, or a related field
- Experience building new processes, rhythms, and systems in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Strong understanding of planning cycles, OKRs, and QBRs
- Ability to translate complex or messy inputs into clear, actionable outputs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, TPM, Design, Data Science, and non-technical partners
- Comfort working independently within a defined scope and driving work forward with minimal oversight
- Experience with product and operations tools such as Jira and Airtable
Preferred Skills
- Background supporting contractor- or project-based engagements
- Experience in consumer subscription, commerce/payments, identity, or lifecycle/growth environments
- Practical use of AI and automation to improve operational efficiency
- Ability to adapt shared frameworks to the needs of a specific team
- Strong judgment for prioritizing operational improvements that can be sustained beyond the contract term
- Experience creating scalable tooling and workflows that reduce manual effort
