Join a dynamic end user computing team supporting desktop engineering initiatives in a remote environment. This role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and well-documented endpoint solutions while partnering with technical teams to improve the employee technology experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, maintain, and retire desktop operating system solutions.
- Support endpoint management tools and services, including software deployment, updates, compliance baselines, client health, and operating system deployment.
- Provide privilege management support for endpoint applications and executables using modern security tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, support, and vendor teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
- Maintain endpoint security and management configurations such as policies and profiles.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex tickets and support internal customers with technical troubleshooting.
- Monitor service performance and recommend improvements to enhance uptime, efficiency, and user experience.
- Create and maintain documentation, including architecture materials, procedures, knowledge articles, test plans, and project plans.
- Evaluate new tools, applications, and processes, and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience supporting desktop engineering or similar enterprise IT environments.
- Strong understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and endpoint technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Intune and MECM/SCCM.
- Knowledge of hybrid join and co-management concepts.
- Experience with client VPN solutions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft BitLocker, Microsoft 365, browsers, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
- Experience supporting Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must be able to work with sensitive data and be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with Mac OS or Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Power BI.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Kanban or Scrum.
- Background in enterprise networking concepts such as WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
- Knowledge of tools such as CrashPlan, Code42, Druva, Ivanti, or Zscaler.
- Experience supporting enterprise client-server software, hardware, and network issues.
