JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a fast-moving network infrastructure team focused on automation, cloud connectivity, and scalable “Network-as-Code” practices across a multi-cloud environment. This six-month contract offers the opportunity to build and support infrastructure tooling that helps keep network operations efficient, secure, and consistent.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Terraform modules to provision and manage multi-cloud network resources.
  • Build and troubleshoot Python scripts that support routine network automation tasks, including IPAM updates, DNS record changes, and firewall policy deployments.
  • Help standardize cross-cloud connectivity across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI using native cloud services and VPN or direct connectivity solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to help ensure smooth code merges and reliable infrastructure deployments.
  • Handle day-to-day network infrastructure requests for VPC and VNET updates while following established Network-as-Code standards.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver secure, well-documented, and repeatable network changes.

Skills

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Network DevOps or cloud networking.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, including networking components such as VPC, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, Route 53, VNET, NSG, or Virtual WAN.
  • Intermediate to advanced Terraform skills, including state management and working with multi-provider configurations.
  • Strong Python scripting ability for API-based automation and integration work.
  • Daily working knowledge of Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and merge conflict resolution.
  • Solid networking fundamentals and the ability to apply them in a cloud environment.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
  • Familiarity with cloud connectivity patterns such as transit gateways, peering, shared networking, and direct connections.
  • Exposure to infrastructure automation at scale in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting deployment pipelines and improving infrastructure delivery workflows.
  • Comfort working in a team that values consistency, documentation, and operational excellence.
