JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a fast-paced technical program management role focused on supporting sensor cleaning programs for fully autonomous vehicles. This position offers the opportunity to partner with engineering, operations, safety, and suppliers to help deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Translate broad strategic goals into detailed program roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure priorities, dependencies, and deadlines are clearly understood and tracked.
  • Act as the primary program liaison for external suppliers, helping align technical requirements, development progress, and validation plans.
  • Facilitate core team meetings by preparing agendas, capturing notes, and following up on action items.
  • Develop and maintain program reporting, documentation, and status updates for key stakeholders.
  • Partner with the core team to manage program plans, budget tracking, and financial updates.
  • Identify risks early, make issues visible, and drive action plans through to resolution.
  • Support cross-functional decision-making by gathering input, evaluating options, and recommending next steps.
  • Assist with TPM team operational needs such as issue tracking, planning activities, and performance metrics.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and contribute across multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of total professional experience.
  • 5+ years of technical or engineering program management experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in hardware product development.
  • Proven success managing complex, cross-functional programs from start to finish.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and coordinating across time zones and teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity while keeping larger goals in focus.
  • Comfort with frequent context switching and dynamic priorities.
  • Experience using requirements management and task tracking tools such as Polarion and JIRA is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Lucidchart, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Skills

  • PMP certification or an equivalent project management credential.
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, test platforms, simulation, or automotive/aerospace processes.
  • Background in hardware development involving electronics, pneumatics, or hydraulic systems.
  • Experience developing KPIs, improving team processes, or supporting quarterly planning.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and build strong working relationships across teams.
