Join a quality-focused manufacturing team as a Quality Technician supporting receiving inspection, process improvement, and product conformance in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally, help strengthen quality systems, and contribute to high standards across incoming materials and production support.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming parts and materials to confirm they meet defined specifications and quality requirements
- Validate conformance of received items against established quality standards and control plans
- Document procedures, work instructions, inspection results, and quality-related processes
- Track and report quality metrics to help communicate status and identify opportunities for improvement
- Enter test and inspection data into SAP and JIRA as needed
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts
- Create and execute inspection plans for visual, functional, and dimensional checks across a variety of parts and assemblies
- Perform metrology tasks, including CMM-related work, when required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help maintain and improve quality standards
Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience performing quality inspections based on a control plan
- Ability to define and apply inspection criteria for injection molded parts, castings, 3D-printed parts, PCBAs, and electrical sub-assemblies
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, cross-functional setting
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
- Comfort working in a detail-oriented environment with quality documentation and data entry responsibilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience using SAP and/or JIRA
- Background in mechanical, electrical, or electronics inspection
- Experience using precision measurement tools
- Industry experience in automotive, semiconductor, aerospace, software, or contract manufacturing
- Exposure to customer-focused or service-oriented environments
- Familiarity with metrology equipment, including CMM
