JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a remote Senior Program Manager role focused on driving delivery excellence across a portfolio of process, data, and systems initiatives supporting global supply chain transformation. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex, cross-functional work that spans planning, execution, testing, cutover, and hyper-care support in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead both program-level and individual project or workstream execution from planning through closeout
  • Build, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and integrated plans
  • Own project budgets and track financials, spend, and resource allocation throughout delivery
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams and third-party implementation teams to keep deliverables on track
  • Drive issue resolution, risk management, and proactive escalation when timelines or scope are at risk
  • Communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and executive leadership on a regular cadence
  • Support solution delivery across planning, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support activities
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, company policies, and relevant requirements
  • Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement activities to strengthen delivery practices
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and strong program management discipline across matrixed teams

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience managing both programs and individual projects or workstreams
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing detailed project plans and schedules
  • Proven ability to track budgets, manage spend, and support financial oversight for projects
  • Experience working in both waterfall and agile environments, with waterfall as the primary delivery approach
  • Background in application or SDLC-related project work, rather than infrastructure-focused delivery
  • Some experience supporting data-related projects or initiatives
  • Experience working in a larger, matrixed organization
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear business language
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and stay organized under pressure
  • Completed four-year degree required

Preferred Skills

  • PMP certification
  • Experience with project and portfolio management methodologies
  • Familiarity with PPM reporting, dashboard, or planning tools
  • Background in change management and embedding project governance practices
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • High emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style
  • Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal direction
  • Interest in process improvement and delivering measurable program outcomes
