JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a senior-level SAP architecture role focused on shaping enterprise technology solutions that support work execution and plant maintenance. This position offers the opportunity to influence large-scale SAP strategy, modernization, and cross-functional delivery in a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and technical direction for enterprise SAP initiatives across application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure domains.
  • Design solution architectures that align with business goals, enterprise standards, and non-functional requirements such as scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
  • Provide governance for architecture standards, solution reviews, and exception management while supporting enterprise architecture principles.
  • Guide end-to-end technical implementation to ensure solutions are supportable in production and aligned with operational models.
  • Develop modernization strategies that reduce technical debt and improve the long-term health of the application landscape.
  • Drive architecture decisions involving SAP, SAP BTP, middleware, identity, data platforms, and external integrations.
  • Identify, assess, and help mitigate technical, operational, security, integration, and compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with business partners, engineering, infrastructure, security, operations, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, integration patterns, security models, and operational readiness.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements that strengthen the SAP ecosystem.

Skills

  • 8+ years of enterprise IT experience in large, complex organizations.
  • 8+ years of solution and enterprise architecture experience supporting major technology initiatives.
  • 6+ years of SAP architecture and enterprise SAP delivery experience.
  • Strong experience with SAP and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Experience designing solutions across application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure architecture.
  • Knowledge of SAP business capabilities related to plant maintenance, work management, and asset management.
  • Solid understanding of SAP integration approaches, including APIs, middleware, events, and batch processing.
  • Experience working within architecture governance, review boards, and enterprise standards processes.
  • Strong understanding of TOGAF and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration programs.
  • Background in energy, utilities, or other regulated, asset-intensive industries.
  • Experience building enterprise technology roadmaps and modernization strategies.
  • Experience managing vendors and system integrator partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management, security, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Ability to work on-site in Denver, Colorado Tuesday through Thursday.
