Bring your creative vision to a collaborative, fast-paced communications team as an Art Director/Designer focused on storytelling across digital and owned channels. This role offers the opportunity to shape compelling visual experiences for social media, corporate web content, internal communications, and special projects through strategic design and thoughtful art direction.
Responsibilities
- Develop original creative concepts and design strategies that support communication goals and audience engagement
- Partner with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, refine ideas, and bring projects from concept through execution
- Create design and art direction for digital and owned channels, including social media, website content, and email communications
- Contribute to brand identities and style guides for special initiatives and campaign work
- Apply strong visual storytelling skills to produce clear, compelling, and audience-specific creative
- Collaborate closely with creative leadership, project management, and business partners throughout the production process
- Assist with planning photo shoots, including shot list development and on-set art direction support as needed
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality, consistency, and attention to detail
- Bring fresh ideas and a continuous improvement mindset to keep creative work engaging and effective
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- At least 4 years of experience in a professional design or art direction role
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design work and creative thinking
- Hands-on experience creating social media design and content
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Strong conceptual, production, digital design, and layout skills
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals and deadlines
- Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong situational awareness, professionalism, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting corporate website layouts and digital publishing teams
- Familiarity with UX-informed digital design approaches
- Experience contributing to branding systems and visual identity work
- Background in photography art direction or photo shoot planning
- Comfort working across multiple projects with shifting priorities and tight timelines
- Interest in social trends and emerging creative approaches
