Join a high-impact identity and cloud operations team supporting enterprise access management at a major U.S. financial institution. This Senior Cloud Administrator role focuses on Okta administration, secure application integration, and strengthening authentication and authorization processes in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support the Okta identity platform to ensure reliable day-to-day operations
- Integrate business applications with Okta using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth protocols
- Configure and manage authorization servers, access controls, and group-based permissions
- Design, implement, and refine authentication and authorization policies
- Investigate and resolve SSO issues, user access concerns, and integration failures
- Implement MFA and adaptive authentication controls to support security requirements
- Document system configurations, procedures, and support processes clearly and accurately
- Work independently while responding to operational support requests and troubleshooting needs
Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Okta
- Strong working knowledge of SSO and identity protocols, including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC
- Experience with Okta Workflows
- Solid understanding of identity governance and security best practices
- Proven troubleshooting skills with a structured, analytical approach
- Strong documentation abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting work in regulated environments such as financial services, healthcare, or government
Preferred Skills
- Okta Professional Certification
- Experience working with REST APIs and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation
- Experience using Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Knowledge of ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
