Join a newly formed agile team focused on enhancing a consumer-facing website and delivering an improved digital experience. This contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented business analyst who enjoys partnering across teams, translating business needs into clear requirements, and helping shape high-impact web features from idea to launch.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product leadership and business stakeholders to clarify needs, define priorities, and support sprint planning.
- Gather and document requirements through workshops, interviews, collaboration sessions, and online research.
- Translate business and customer needs into clear functional requirements for the development team.
- Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria, keeping the backlog organized and ready for delivery.
- Help identify dependencies and business impacts when priorities shift or timelines change.
- Support validation of new features and functionality to help ensure the intended user experience is delivered.
- Contribute to documentation efforts within Jira and Confluence as part of a collaborative scrum team.
Skills
- 3–5 years of experience as a business analyst, scrum master, or project manager in an agile environment.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Background supporting consumer-facing web or digital platforms.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across a cross-functional team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Prior experience supporting website enhancements or other digital product initiatives.
- Experience in financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
- Comfort working closely with product owners and technical teams in an agile setting.
- A proactive, dependable approach with strong attention to detail.
