Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Deliver features aligned to prioritized product backlog items
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
• Create automated tests and validate functionality against acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver reliable solutions
• Support production readiness, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform improvements

Skills

• 3–5 years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong Java development experience in enterprise applications
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API development
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Background working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Experience with unit testing, test automation, and test-driven development (TDD)
• Ability to contribute to story sizing, sprint planning, and iterative delivery
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kotlin and/or Groovy
• Experience supporting supply chain, warehouse management, or order management platforms
• Manhattan Associates platform experience, including WMS, WMOS, Active, or OMS
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
• Exposure to cloud-native application development
