Join a high-impact innovation team focused on building and evaluating Generative AI solutions that support Institutional Banking initiatives. This hands-on role blends software engineering, prototyping, and emerging technology research to help transform ideas into practical, business-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy proof-of-concept and production-ready Generative AI applications using modern engineering practices and cloud-based technologies.
- Prototype and assess emerging AI tools, platforms, vendors, and capabilities to determine fit for business needs.
- Develop AI-enabled workflows and applications using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic frameworks, document intelligence, APIs, and cloud services.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, decision-making, client service, operational efficiency, and risk management.
- Translate business concepts into working prototypes through rapid experimentation and technical validation.
- Support governance, risk, compliance, model review, and technology approval processes with technical documentation and input.
- Contribute to integration design between AI platforms, enterprise systems, and cloud environments.
- Establish reusable engineering patterns, development standards, and best practices for AI solution delivery.
- Create clear technical documentation, reference materials, presentations, and demos to support adoption and knowledge sharing.
- Present findings, prototypes, recommendations, and solution roadmaps to stakeholders and leadership.
- Assist with deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions.
Skills
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building web-based or distributed applications.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions with modern programming languages, frameworks, APIs, and cloud services.
- Practical experience with Generative AI, large language models, or related emerging technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently through ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to own complex technical work from concept through implementation.
- Comfort working in environments that require attention to governance, security, risk, and compliance considerations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI workflows, document intelligence, or workflow automation platforms.
- Experience in regulated industries and collaboration with governance, risk, compliance, security, or legal teams.
- Experience evaluating vendor technologies and making technical recommendations.
- Background supporting proof-of-concept development, experimentation, or innovation initiatives.
