We are seeking a talented Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on enhancing the security of our public cloud platforms. This role offers the opportunity to tackle critical issues and drive impactful solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement mitigation plans for high-priority security issues in cloud environments such as GCP, Azure, and AWS.
- Coordinate the management and rotation of cloud secrets in collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Identify root causes of security issues and implement strategies to prevent recurrence in future deployments.
- Validate the effectiveness of remediation efforts, ensuring security measures are in place and functioning as intended.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable security solutions and enhance overall cloud security posture.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering with a strong focus on GCP.
- Proficiency in writing automation scripts and pipelines for cloud environments.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform, in complex settings.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and core infrastructure components.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control systems.
- Background in cloud security practices and principles.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
