We are seeking an experienced Sr Project Manager to lead and manage critical projects within a dynamic environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive success.
Responsibilities
- Define and align work strategies with resources and client outcomes, overseeing the planning and execution of large-scale implementations.
- Anticipate and proactively address potential project issues, ensuring smooth operations.
- Gather and update project materials, documentation, and deliverables, maintaining thorough records of lessons learned.
- Communicate project details effectively to both business and technical teams, including clients.
- Manage cross-functional interdependencies and improve processes to optimize performance.
- Conduct risk management and problem resolution as required throughout the project lifecycle.
- Represent project status to stakeholders and leadership, addressing challenges and providing updates.
Skills
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience with a strong focus on client relations.
- Hands-on experience with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Visio.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in project management for State Medicaid Agencies or large healthcare organizations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
- Familiarity with data migration projects and the M&O phase of project lifecycles.
