Join our dynamic finance team as a Cash Application & Account Reconciliation Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in optimizing cash flow and supporting financial health. This remote position offers the opportunity to drive process improvements in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer payments through various channels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Apply cash to open invoices in the ERP system, resolving any discrepancies or exceptions.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and resolve variances between account balances.
- Manage billing disputes and process necessary adjustments with proper documentation.
- Prepare and analyze cash application and payment reconciliation reports.
- Serve as a power user of the ERP system, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, or account reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and pivot tables.
- Strong expertise in ERP systems like Workday, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage high transaction volumes with precision.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with cash application automation platforms.
- Familiarity with banking systems and payment API integrations.
- Experience in a high-growth or hypergrowth company environment.
