JOB DESCRIPTION

Join us as a Product Owner where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding a strategic platform responsible for generating essential insurance documents. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and drive impactful UI enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute a portion of the product roadmap focused on UI enhancements and product expansion.
  • Gather and document business requirements from various stakeholder groups.
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories and prioritize backlog items.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to refine backlogs and plan sprints.
  • Drive delivery of enhancements to support new product offerings.
  • Lead efforts to improve user experience and expand data capture capabilities.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams and development resources to implement requirements effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships across multiple business functions to align priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal and vendor teams to ensure seamless delivery and alignment.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in enterprise software applications.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering and backlog management.
  • Experience in UI-focused initiatives and application enhancements.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including writing user stories and managing priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in Group Benefits or Group Insurance.
  • Familiarity with contract generation or document management platforms.
  • Experience with vendor-supported platforms or SaaS products.
  • Knowledge of policy administration, enrollment, underwriting, or benefits administration systems.
  • Experience working with distributed Scrum teams and exposure to similar insurance technology platforms.
