We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preserving and digitizing valuable photographic assets, contributing to our mission of supporting brand storytelling and enterprise-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume digitization of photographic materials, including slides and prints, using specialized scanning equipment.
- Produce consistent, high-quality digital images while adhering to internal standards and guidelines.
- Perform basic image processing tasks such as cropping, rotation, and color correction.
- Maintain organized file naming conventions and apply metadata to enhance asset discoverability.
- Track materials throughout the digitization workflow and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy.
- Support operational workflows and identify opportunities for workflow improvements.
Skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience with digital imaging equipment or similar production tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks effectively.
- Basic proficiency with MacOS, spreadsheets, and file management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with digitizing photographic materials, particularly slides.
- Familiarity with archival or collection-based workflows.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing tools.
- Experience in high-volume production environments and troubleshooting image quality issues.
