We are seeking a talented Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative data analytics initiatives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Configure, operate, and monitor Google Cloud capabilities for data onboarding and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define access needs and resolve issues related to cloud resources.
- Build and maintain datasets, tables, and scheduled queries in BigQuery.
- Troubleshoot data processing jobs and ensure reliable operations across cloud environments.
- Document cloud resources, job schedules, and support procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or data engineering with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficient in BigQuery, including SQL for data validation and analytics workflows.
- Experience with Google Cloud project setup, IAM, and service accounts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for data transfer and processing jobs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with security analytics or insider threat detection use cases.
- Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Cloud Composer, or similar technologies.
- Python programming skills for automation and operational tooling.
- Experience in large enterprise cloud environments.
