We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-performance detection platform while contributing to innovative security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high-throughput detection platform, ensuring its reliability and performance.
• Design and operate secure secrets management workflows, including the implementation of encryption proxies.
• Optimize database schemas and improve query performance for data storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot and enhance high-throughput data pipelines, focusing on effective instrumentation and monitoring.
• Contribute to engineering excellence by refining CI/CD pipelines and improving test coverage.

Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend systems.
• Proficiency in Go programming language with a strong understanding of its core concepts.
• Experience with database management, specifically Postgres, including migrations and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka and their application in data processing.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with security and cryptography, particularly in designing Vault integrations.
• Knowledge of detection engines and string-search algorithms.
• Familiarity with Docker and workflow orchestration tools.
• Basic understanding of observability tools and metrics instrumentation.
