JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an International Payroll Senior Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing payroll operations across multiple global jurisdictions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and ensure compliance while enhancing the employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global payroll strategies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Manage relationships with global service providers to optimize payroll processes and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for thousands of employees.
  • Collaborate with HR to streamline new hire processes, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Lead internal and external audits, maintaining "audit-ready" payroll records at all times.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for payroll team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws to mitigate compliance risks and prevent legal disputes.

Skills

  • Minimum of 12-15 years of payroll experience, including at least 5 years in a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources; CPP certification is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of payroll, time and attendance systems, and HRIS.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to educate and manage change effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to improve operational processes and deliver results.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Workday HCM and various Payroll Service Providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive payroll projects to successful completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork within diverse groups.
  • Ability to navigate complex payroll scenarios, including expatriate and shadow payrolls.
