We are seeking a talented Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects within the supply chain and warehousing domain, focusing on building scalable backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services that support warehouse operational planning and productivity.
• Create and optimize complex RESTful APIs for internal systems, ensuring efficient data handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to break down requirements into actionable tasks, delivering within sprint timelines.
• Implement best practices for code quality through unit and integration testing.
• Manage operational data using relational databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Java.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience in developing scalable backend services.
• Ability to work effectively in agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with test-driven development and test automation practices.
• Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse systems.
• Experience in Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) environments.
