We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving Agile excellence and facilitating project delivery across technology and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead project facilitation and Agile methodologies across technology portfolios.
- Mentor and coach Scrum teams to enhance their performance and adherence to Agile principles.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and delivery leads to refine and maintain product backlogs.
- Facilitate all Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Monitor team progress and provide transparency through accurate reporting of Agile performance metrics.
- Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth team progress and delivery.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and process inspections.
Skills
- 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Agile team competencies.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to propose solutions to process gaps.
- Demonstrated capability to mentor teams on AI usage to enhance productivity.
Preferred Skills
- Scrum Master certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in facilitating large-scale workshops or cross-functional sessions.
- Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) in project management.
- Familiarity with life insurance or financial services environments.
