Join our dynamic team in a remote position where you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of clinical vocabularies. Your expertise will drive meaningful changes in clinical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine internal vocabularies for key clinical concepts and identifiers.
- Design and execute SQL scripts for vocabulary evaluation and updates.
- Contribute to the development of ontology models for internal vocabularies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Manage the curation and loading of standard and custom terms in knowledge management systems.
- Develop clear guidelines for vocabulary maintenance processes and training protocols.
- Participate in relevant workgroups focused on registry, transplant, and vocabulary innovations.
- Generate reports on term usage and integration success, driving improvement recommendations.
Skills
- Strong background in developing and managing clinical vocabularies and internal terminology.
- Proficiency in SQL scripting for data evaluation and update tasks.
- Experience in ontology model development and knowledge management systems.
- Understanding of data privacy and security regulations, with a focus on compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OMOP standard vocabularies and clinical research terminology.
- Background in participating in industry workgroups focused on clinical data standardization.
- Ability to identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements.
