We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Leader to manage a diverse portfolio of projects. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic leadership and drive impactful initiatives within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of projects, ensuring effective governance and resource management.
- Engage with key stakeholders to optimize project execution and align with organizational objectives.
- Provide vision and leadership to project teams, guiding complex cross-organizational initiatives.
- Define and communicate program goals, metrics, and objectives to ensure clarity across teams.
- Facilitate negotiations with managers to initiate or continue programs based on performance and resources.
- Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions to maintain budget and schedule.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive work plans, outlining dependencies, risks, and progress.
- Conduct briefings and updates for executive sponsors and steering committees to resolve issues.
- Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Promote adherence to policies and procedures within the Project Management Office (PMO).
Skills
- 7-10 years of experience in program management with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make objective decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
- Self-directed with a strong leadership presence and the ability to motivate teams.
- Solid understanding of Project, Program, and Portfolio Management methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with project management tools, such as OnePlan, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and drive results in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
- Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
- Proven capability in change management and mentoring others in project management practices.
