Join as a Project Manager to support essential operations that focus on waste minimization, ensuring effective processes and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage service requests related to waste programs such as recycling and trash disposal.
- Coordinate with various vendors to ensure smooth pickups and quick issue resolution while maintaining open communication.
- Diligently track and close open requests, ensuring processes are completed on time.
- Utilize data to identify trends and drivers impacting cost and efficiency.
- Provide valuable support and troubleshooting assistance to store teams to maximize operational efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for program activities and services.
- Recognize and identify risks or recurrent issues for the core team to address.
- Support vendor onboarding processes when necessary.
Skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask efficiently.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective team and vendor collaboration.
- Proficient in basic data analysis using tools like Excel.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities focused on identifying root causes.
- Keen attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to maintaining process discipline.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with work order management software, including IBM Maximo or Smartsheet.
- Understanding of waste management processes and sustainability efforts.
- Willingness to adapt and train on new systems and processes.
