Responsibilities

• Conduct essential system administrator tasks such as infrastructure upkeep, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Implement system upgrades and patches efficiently to maintain optimal performance.
• Assess and address system vulnerabilities, ensuring a secure and stable environment for clients.
• Engage in disaster recovery exercises to support system resilience.
• Analyze historical incidents to forecast potential issues, employing proactive solutions.
• Develop and apply automation for lifecycle and configuration management.
• Contribute to the on-call rotation to provide continuous support.

Skills

• Proficient in RedHat Linux administration.
• Experienced in leveraging Satellite and VMware for system operations.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities to resolve complex issues.
• Skilled in scripting for task automation and efficiency improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible for system automation and orchestration.
• Knowledge of Git for effective source code management.
• Familiarity with RedHat High Availability Cluster for system reliability.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
