JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about technology and eager to make a meaningful impact on environmental safety? We are seeking a Product Owner to drive strategic initiatives within a wildfire technology portfolio, focusing on innovation and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy and planning for a wildfire technology portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Manage product backlogs and guide agile teams to successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable product plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and oversee software contracts and licensing.
  • Partner with technology leaders to ensure portfolio-wide alignment and transparency.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Manager in enterprise technology solutions.
  • Expertise in managing product backlogs and agile delivery processes.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to develop product strategy and technical delivery plans.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with GIS tools and environmental monitoring systems.
  • Background in utilities, infrastructure, or emergency response domains.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and software licensing/subscriptions.
  • Knowledge of wildfire risk and operational analytics platforms.
