We are seeking an experienced IT Finance Manager to lead financial planning and budgeting for our IT department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with leadership and drive financial accountability within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual IT budget process, collaborating with IT leadership to forecast operational and capital expenditures.
- Analyze IT spending to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare regular financial reports, providing insights into spending trends and variances to budget.
- Partner with IT stakeholders to develop accurate financial forecasts for IT expenses and investments.
- Manage a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Engage in process reviews to create efficiencies in financial operations.
Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Proficient in financial reporting and analysis with advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial software such as OneStream, ServiceNow, or Oracle Financials.
- Background in public accounting, particularly with Big 4 firms.
- Graduate degree in a related field is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on strategic financial planning.
