We are searching for an insightful IT Finance Manager to lead our financial planning and budgeting within the IT department. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient cost management and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual IT budgeting process by working closely with leadership to forecast costs and expenses
- Analyze current IT expenditures to identify potential cost-saving opportunities while sustaining service quality
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports that highlight trends and budget variances
- Create accurate financial forecasts related to IT expenses, taking into account market trends and project timelines
- Develop business cases and ROI models for significant technology investments and review them post-implementation
- Mentor a team of financial analysts to encourage a collaborative and productive work environment
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and standards in reporting
Skills
- Strong command of accounting principles, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis with advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines, and cultivate effective workplace relationships
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex financial data
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial software like OneStream, ServiceNow, and Oracle Financials
- Background in public accounting, particularly within Big 4 or tier 2 firms
- Experience in leading and managing financial teams
