Project Overview: A high strategic program and objective – they are moving out of existing data centers into cloud in other infrastructure they are building, moving everything out by a strict deadline. Program focuses on an IT system organization that provides IT services to the system, infrastructure, shared services, enterprise services. Providing for various business applications. Diverse groups of technologies – core infrastructure – business applications that were home-grown or purchased- spans across the IT organization with over 60 different product owners- a lot of communications across dispersed teams, rolls into 7 key areas. Everyone is creating plans and schedules to move of the deadline. Trying to enhance so that they can put centralizing, improvability, plans and risks in place. Trying to build up program management centralized functions to oversee the success of the transitions. Details and skills needed are shown below:

- Not a typical management role - where there is 1 team and 1 goal - this is more of a PMO
- Background: Technical in nature… cloud migration, infrastructure, build, network security large projects
- Looking for someone with a diverse portfolio
- How to manage a lot of information , centralized it to where it is digestible for every level of the organization
- Connect with network teams and storage teams and be able to follow the conversations, connect the dots and understand how to ask the right questions, Follow along and relay back
- Really organized, manage large amounts of information
- Oversight over 60 teams that a responsible for their own plans
- A lot of coordination that takes place, identify risk, schedule meetings to help navigate issues
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Forever in the start-up mode, needs someone that can roll up their sleeves
- Flexible and critical thinking
- May have to help project managers from time to time, but really serving as the oversight figure

Job Description: Technical Project Manager
Qualifications:
- Partner with senior leaders and product owners to understand status, risks, issues, mitigation plans and report out status that gets rolled up.
- Drive delivery forward focusing on teams that need assistance, cross-team dependencies, proactive identification and removal of blockers.
- Partner with architecture/technical team lead to validate product solutions are aligned to standards and architectural guidelines or documents, communicate decisions that are not aligned, and ensure that critical systems and significant changes are reviewed and approved through applicable governance process
- 5 to 7 years of experience
- Experienced project manager with ability to follow technical discussions.
- Soft skills to lead and influence large dispersed teams.
- Strong written and oral communications.
- Strong organizational skills with the abilities to organize a large volume of information and follow up on action items.
