Their need
This nonprofit was established in 1994 to help students in higher education succeed. As they continued to grow, they needed to expand their internal IT department to keep up with increasing demand. Like most nonprofits, this organization’s budget was limited. This meant they needed to hire exceptional talent at competitive rates. Horizontal Talent was eager to take on the challenge.
Our solution
Horizontal Talent delivered IT candidates to help this nonprofit build the teams tasked with creating core applications used in their service offerings. Our shared core values allowed us to identify with this nonprofit and understand their needs right away.
In 2014, this nonprofit procured a small list of staffing suppliers who could provide them with more competitive pricing and stronger candidates than they’d been getting from most of their suppliers. Since we had already proven be a reliable partner, Horizontal Talent was selected as one of three preferred vendors.
