With 74% of U.S. companies implementing a permanent hybrid work model, many of us have settled into a routine of rolling out of bed and logging on to our computer. While this new normal saves time and adds convenience to our lives, it also comes with its fair share of distractions. These 13 tools our team relies on will help you stay productive while working from home.

Time Management

Flow: This time management tool uses the Pomodoro technique to break down the workday into 25-minute intervals, separated by short breaks. This technique has been proven to enhance focus, reduce stress and eliminate procrastination. In addition, Flow allows you to block apps so you won’t get distracted. Note: it is only compatible for Apple users.

Flora: This focus app lets you select a duration of time to focus and grows trees while you’re working. If you go on your phone during the allotted time, the trees die! When you grow virtual trees, the app partners with tree-planting organizations that plant real trees in Africa, East Asia, and South America.

Focus Booster: Similar to Flow, Focus Booster lets you create to-do lists and set focus timers based on the Pomodoro technique. Focus Booster is compatible for Windows, Mac, and mobile.

Project Management

Trello: This project management tool is an intuitive, visually appealing way to organize your team and stay on top of deadlines. Trello’s boards, lists and cards features click-and-drag functionality to make it easy to adjust projects. As an added bonus, Trello integrates with Confluence to keep your documentation up to date.

Asana: Similar to Trello, Asana allows you to organize projects, create tasks, assign due dates, add members and more. With features such as app integration and automation, Asana is great for personal and professional management.

Teux Deux: This list management tool is a great way to organize and simplify your life. Teux Deux enables you to take tasks out of your brain so you can focus on one thing at a time. Teux Deux works well on the web and also features a great mobile app.

Todoist: This task management tool helps you focus your energy on the right things. From prioritizing projects to delegating tasks to setting goals, Todoist is a versatile way to stay on top of your workload.

Airtable: This project management tool offers the familiarity of a spreadsheet with the robust power of a database. Airtable is an all-in-one solution that includes a customizable database, dashboard views, 50+ prebuilt apps, automated tasks and the ability to sync with your other apps. For small teams (or families!), there’s almost no better project management tool you can get.

Notion: This tool consolidates the apps you use for work to help you track projects, share documents and find important information. Notion is a great way to bring clarity to your team and reduce the need to jump back and forth between apps.

Things: This personal task manager prevents your workload from feeling messy or overwhelming — no matter the length of your task list. Things helps you keep your place via beautiful animations and features a super-fast search tool if you get lost.

Google Keep: This note-taking tool synchronizes across all your devices and empowers you to create, share and collaborate on notes and lists. It’s a great choice if you’re looking to capture ideas with your voice, add images to notes and check tasks off your to-do list.

Evernote: Like Google Keep, this note-taking app is an effective way to store and sync everything you could possibly imagine. From jotting down notes to saving receipts, Evernote helps you manage your everyday life and reminds you about upcoming deadlines. The absolute best thing about this tool is that it syncs seamlessly across devices, making sure your thoughts stay with you wherever you go.

Roam: This note-taking tool helps you organize your research in a more visually effective way by breaking down information into a directed graph instead of a file tree. This app is designed to connect your thoughts and group them together without having to copy and paste links.
