Job Summary: The IT Business Analyst will play a key role as a bridge to the gap between business needs and technology solutions across the project lifecycle for Bank’s projects. This includes working with internal stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and users to ensure business and IT requirements are accurately captured, validated, and translated into effective requirements documents aligned with strategic objectives.

Job Summary: The IT Business Analyst will play a key role as a bridge to the gap between business needs and technology solutions across the project lifecycle for Bank’s projects. This includes working with internal stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and users to ensure business and IT requirements are accurately captured, validated, and translated into effective requirements documents aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments to define and refine the scope of work.
- Requirements gathering through workshops, stakeholder interviews, document reviews, and analysis of current systems.
- Review and validate documentation provided by vendors to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the Test Manager to support test planning, execution, and defect resolution.
- Assist in change management efforts including training and communication strategies.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the SDLC.
- Develop go-to-market strategy with the business units
- Coordinate deployment activities with the Technical Lead, Applications team and vendors
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis (lead level).
Experience as IT Business Analyst/Project Management/Solution.
Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of banking systems with IT technical skills proficiency, especially:
- Investment Banking (Equities, Futures, Institutional, Middle Office, Back Office)
- Retail Banking
- Proven experience across the full SDLC: requirements, build, SIT, UAT, deployment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure, Network, SQL Database, Data Mapping, System Design and Architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in IT for Business Information, Project Management or related field.
- Any relevant certifications is a bonus.
