About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Manager to oversee global shipments and logistics operations for data centre equipment. You will be responsible for coordinating international transportation, customs clearance, shipment tracking, and ensuring equipment is delivered safely and on schedule to project sites worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage international shipments via air, sea, and road freight.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners.
- Ensure import/export documentation and customs clearance are completed accurately.
- Apply the correct Incoterms and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery delays.
- Expedite urgent shipments to support project timelines.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with project and site teams.
- Monitor logistics costs and vendor performance.
- Prepare shipment status reports and support continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in international logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience handling global shipments for heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or data centre equipment is preferred.
- Good understanding of customs clearance, import/export processes, and Incoterms.
- Experience managing shipments across Asia, Europe, Japan, Korea, and the Americas.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Logistics modules.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
