Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and analytical R&D Business Analyst to support product and solution development initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to gather requirements, analyse business needs, define product features, and ensure successful delivery of solutions that align with business objectives.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong business analysis experience within software development or product-driven environments who enjoy problem-solving, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.

Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, surveys, and discussions to understand user and business needs.

Translate business requirements into clear documentation such as BRD, FRD, user stories, workflows, and functional specifications.

Prioritize requirements based on business impact, feasibility, and project objectives.
Product & Solution Development

Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, and Development teams to define product features and enhancements.

Support solution design discussions and ensure requirements are clearly communicated to technical teams.

Stay updated on current industry trends, business practices, and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.

Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement clarification.
Process Improvement

Analyse current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

Recommend and support implementation of process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Ensure best practices and quality standards are consistently followed.
Testing & Validation

Prepare test scenarios, test plans, and test cases based on business requirements.

Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

Validate delivered solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and expected outcomes.

Work closely with QA and development teams to resolve issues and track enhancements.
Stakeholder Management
-
Act as the liaison between business users, stakeholders, and technical teams.

Provide regular updates and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Build strong working relationships across departments and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, System Analysis, or related roles.

Strong experience in requirement gathering, requirement analysis, and documentation.

Experience working within software development or product development environments.

Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to UAT, test case preparation, and solution validation.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Able to multitask, work independently, and manage deadlines effectively.

Good stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Basic understanding of software development concepts and technical workflows is an added advantage.
