Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our team. The TPM will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technical projects, often involving software development, system integration, or infrastructure rollouts, according to strict deadlines and within budget. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Product Engineering and will be a key liaison between engineering teams, product management, and other business stakeholders.

The TPM will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technical projects, often involving software development, system integration, or infrastructure rollouts, according to strict deadlines and within budget. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Product Engineering and will be a key liaison between engineering teams, product management, and other business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Execution:
- Lead the planning and implementation of complex, cross-functional technical projects from inception to completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the Head of Product Engineering and key stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans, schedules, and associated communications documents.
- Effectively manage project dependencies, critical paths, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project status and issue resolution.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and changes to the Head of Product Engineering and all relevant stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Facilitate technical discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution among engineering, product, and QA teams.
- Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and adhere to high-quality standards.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Champion agile best practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and drive continuous improvement within the development lifecycle.
- Ensure the engineering team is operating with maximum efficiency and clarity.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in project management, with at least 3years managing technical projects (e.g., software development, cloud/SaaS, or platform engineering).
- Proven ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and guide engineering teams to technical decisions.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern development technologies/architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills for executive updates.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have:
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification.
- Tools: Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
