Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily factory operations including process and procedure documentation, conformance and improvement activities. Liaise with customers for operational updates.
• Mitigating quality non-conformances and delivery schedule risks and provide technical leadership to ensure improvements or achievement.
• Ensure production of fan cases as per Rolls-Royce schedule delivery plan.
• Manage/provide strategy and direction to Shop Floor Managers.
• Ensure the Shop Floor Managers monitor daily production performance including work quality and efficiency, ensure employees receive the proper training, and address quality and maintenance issues.
• Perform process monitoring tasks defined by Quality and Engineering team and support process improvement and Zero Defect drive.

Key Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

• Degree qualifications or preferably with apprenticeship work experience.
• Minimum 8 years experience preferably in Aerospace Industry in managing the operational manufacturing environment preferably in multiple shift operations.
• Quality management, Engineering, Manufacturing methodologies, Project Management, Training Operation Management methods, knowledge of ERP system, Lean principles, Inspection Processes including NDT, Material knowledge and multi-cultural awareness.
• Proven leadership skills and result oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
• Analytical mind to identify errors and inconsistencies in the manufacturing processes that lead to variances in production volumes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and managerial skills.
• Good computer literacy to use production control systems and standard office automation tools.
