About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our global IT team. You will provide technical support to onsite and remote users, ensuring smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, endpoint devices, collaboration tools, and cloud systems. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing hardware, software, and cloud solutions while delivering first-class support across multiple time zones.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Support
- Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops (Windows & Mac), mobile devices (iOS, Android, tablets), printers, and business applications.
- Support Microsoft 365 Apps and collaboration tools including Teams and Teams Calling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for both onsite and remote users using remote support tools.
- Ensure excellent customer service and ownership of issues through resolution.
Endpoint & Desktop Management
- Build, image, deploy, and maintain desktop/laptop devices.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and applications.
- Apply updates and patches for Windows and Mac systems (WSUS experience preferred).
- Deploy and manage devices using Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or Endpoint Central.
- Monitor and maintain the security and performance of all endpoints.
Identity & Access Management
- Administer global Active Directory (AD), including DHCP, DNS, GPOs, domain trusts, and OU structures.
- Support hybrid identity environments with Azure AD Connect, SSO, and MFA.
- Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and license allocation.
- Administer mailbox management, mail flow, and email security.
- Support compliance tools such as eDiscovery, DLP, and audit logging.
Cloud & Infrastructure Support
- Support AWS services including EC2 and WorkSpaces.
- Troubleshoot Windows and Linux OS issues, and support system stability and performance.
- Assist in IT infrastructure and software projects while adhering to change management policies.
Automation & Scripting
- Use PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, bulk operations, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Collaboration & Meeting Technology
- Maintain and support meeting room technologies, including Logitech Tap and Poly Studio systems.
- Ensure smooth operation of collaboration tools for hybrid work environments.
Incident & Knowledge Management
- Log, track, and manage incidents through a helpdesk system.
- Open and escalate technical cases with vendors as required.
- Document solutions and best practices in a knowledge base.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 apps, collaboration tools, and endpoint management systems.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access.
- Knowledge of AWS (EC2, WorkSpaces) is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and Bash.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate globally.
