Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, quality control, energy optimisation, and process automation in industrial environments.
  • Develop scalable and secure IoT systems for device monitoring, control, and data exchange.
  • Integrate microcontrollers (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, etc.) with sensors and actuators using protocols like MQTT, HTTP REST, AMQP, and WebSockets.
  • Build and deploy AI models (ML, DL, RL) for predictive analytics, defect detection, anomaly detection, and digital twin simulations.
  • Process and analyse sensor data from PLCs, SCADA, MES, and IIoT platforms.
  • Collaborate with control system engineers to integrate AI into real-time decision-making.
  • Optimise energy consumption through AI-driven demand forecasting and load balancing.
  • Develop computer vision algorithms (OpenCV, YOLO) for visual inspection tasks.
  • Maintain cloud/on-prem infrastructure for data ingestion, processing, and model deployment.
  • Develop modular applications using Python, JavaScript (Node.js), Java, and Node-RED.
  • Implement Linux-based services and IPC mechanisms for sensor data management and edge logic.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, model explainability, and data governance in AI pipelines.
  • Support operational deployment, diagnostics, firmware updates, and system troubleshooting at customer sites or remotely.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting.
 
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Knowledge of IoT, embedded development, or full-stack integration.
  • Solid programming skills in Python, JavaScript (Node.js), or Java.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, microcontroller I/O, and real-time data acquisition.
  • Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and system administration.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
