Role Summary
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Automation) to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions leveraging advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Claude and Google Gemini Pro. This role will focus on integrating LLMs with automation frameworks, including AWS Step Functions, Google Cloud Workflows, and Make.com, to revolutionize media activation and operational efficiency across Mediabrands.
As a key member of the Intelligent Automation team, you will collaborate with developers, media activation specialists, and business leaders to deliver scalable, innovative solutions that transform manual workflows into intelligent automated processes. This role emphasizes solution architecture, agentic automation development, and collaboration. This is a role aligned with US working hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Automation Strategy and Development:
• Define and implement the roadmap for agentic automation initiatives, aligning with business goals and client needs
• Lead the design and development of intelligent automation solutions by integrating LLMs with frameworks like AWS Step Functions, Google Cloud Workflows, and Make.com
• Building and Scaling AI-Driven Solutions:
• Develop automation processes using LLMs to interpret unstructured data, generate actionable insights, and enhance operational efficiency
• Architect intelligent workflows for media activation, billing, and reporting using AI-driven tools
• Collaboration and Leadership:
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including GCC craft teams, media activation specialists, and developers, to deliver impactful automation projects
• Act as a thought leader in automation, communicating opportunities, risks, and project updates to senior stakeholders
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented automation systems, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvements
• Analyze and optimize existing automations to reduce overhead, enhance reliability, and maximize ROI
• Technical Enablement and Innovation:
• Stay updated on advancements in LLMs, agentic AI, and automation technologies to identify new opportunities for innovation.
• Guide the team in leveraging cloud-based AI tools (e.g., AWS Textract, Make.com, Microsoft Copilot, Google)
Requirements
• Experience:
• 4+ years of experience in automation platforms such as Make.com, and cloud-based frameworks like AWS Step Functions or Google Cloud Workflows
• Technical Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in Python
• Knowledge of integrating LLMs (e.g., Claude, Gemini) into automation systems.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., AWS Step Functions, Google Cloud Workflows)
• Strong data interpretation and process design skills using tools like Excel
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with KPI development and performance monitoring for automation systems
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in media activation, media operations, or process engineering, with expertise in search, social, and programmatic media buying platforms
• Ability and proven track record of leading technical projects
