About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and integration frameworks including ETL, IntegrationHub, and Robust Transform Engine (RTE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-grade integrations, driving CMDB accuracy, and automating discovery and configuration management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Design and maintain a robust and accurate CMDB, ensuring data completeness, correctness, and compliance.
- Develop and manage ETL processes using Robust Transform Engine (RTE) for scalable and flexible data ingestion and transformation.
- Build integration workflows using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Spokes, and MID Servers to connect external tools and platforms to ServiceNow.
- Create and maintain transform maps, data sources, and identification / reconciliation rules to ensure CMDB integrity.
- Define and implement CI class structures, relationships, and data normalization logic.
- Ensure high CMDB health using CMDB Health Dashboard, Query Builder, and Data Certification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., infrastructure, application owners, monitoring teams) to gather integration requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Create technical documentation and support CMDB governance and audit activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB implementation and support.
- Hands-on experience with Robust Transform Engine (RTE) for advanced data transformation and modeling.
- Strong knowledge of IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and custom spokes development.
- Experience with ETL tools, data mapping, and automated data ingestion from third-party systems.
- Expertise in Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and Service Mapping.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Deep understanding of CI lifecycle management, data quality, normalization, and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related discovery/integration is plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical requirements into actionable development.
Preferred Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery
- ITIL v4 Foundation.
