Our Client is seeking a talented and exceptional Senior Engineer who wants to make a difference in the world, has a strong will for constant learning and development, is open and collaborative, and never stops striving to improve and develop themselves and the products/services they are responsible for. He/She will manage engineering practices and develop cutting-edge IP Data and Voice stream processing solutions for telecommunication traffic. This role involves working with innovative technologies, building advanced interfaces, handling IP traffic, and decoding protocols. As our organization's expert and technical expert, you will drive technical excellence, mentor team members, and contribute to strategic product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation of high-performance, scalable, and maintainable end-to-end IP and Voice data stream pre/postprocessing solutions.
  • Contribute to developing code that meets the highest quality, performance, and security standards.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical challenges across the entire system architecture, including bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including support engineers, to ensure optimal product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Drive innovation by staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends and applying this knowledge to improve our products and processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, flowcharts, and API specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including test-driven development, continuous integration, and code versioning.
  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of coding standards and development processes within the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related science field.
  • 8+ years of experience developing high-quality software, with a strong focus on C/C++ and Java.
  • Good understanding of different paradigms of programming languages: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Procedural Programming, Functional Programming
  • Extensive knowledge of the latest C++ standards (C++11 and beyond) and major Java frameworks (Spring, Apache Karaf, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, SIP, and experience with deep packet inspection.
  • Proven expertise in multi-threaded programming, memory management, and optimization techniques for high-performance systems.
  • Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Experience with Linux development environments.
  • Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and issue tracking systems (e.g.,JIRA).
  • Familiarity with database technologies SQL, Non-SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, Oracle.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with telecommunications engineering, including knowledge of GPRS/UMTS and ETSI standards.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies, particularly Kanban and Scrum.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of distributed systems.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and analytics.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or published research in relevant fields
  • Experience with programming languages Golang, Python, etc.
