JOB DESCRIPTION
AWS Cloud Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud migration and experience in the FSI (Financial Services Industry) sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud technologies and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture.

Key Scope of Works
  • Work with clients to understand their business requirements and provide AWS cloud-based solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of AWS cloud solutions for clients in the FSI industry.
  • Conduct detailed technical assessments of existing systems and applications to determine their cloud readiness and develop migration strategies.
  • Perform the migration of on-premise infrastructure and applications to AWS cloud environments.
  • Implement cloud-based security, monitoring, and automation solutions to ensure the security and availability of cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Required Skills and Capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
  • Experience in the FSI industry is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud migration tools and methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture principles.
  • Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Willing to travel and accept overseas assignment
