Job Summary:
As a PEGA Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, installing, and supporting PEGA-based applications in alignment with business requirements. You will be responsible for building robust and scalable solutions, automating deployments, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through CI/CD pipelines. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong communication and technical skills, working across multiple teams and time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, install, and support PEGA applications per product requirements.
- Create, deploy, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for seamless development and release workflows.
- Implement automation, monitoring, and visualization across the application architecture.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure high-quality code deployment and operation.
- Analyze technical problems and propose practical, scalable solutions to senior team members.
- Assess technical feasibility and provide time/scheduling estimates for proposed solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and deliver presentations to stakeholders and team members.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, demonstrating a strong customer-centric approach.
- Contribute to the design system by collaborating and innovating with fellow engineers.
Requirement:
- 7+ years of experience as a software developer.
- Hands-on experience with PEGA 8.8 or newer. Certifications such as PEGA CSA or CSSA are a plus.
- Proficiency in Java and experience building multi-tier applications using Java and Tomcat.
- Willingness and ability to transition to low-code PEGA development.
- Solid Oracle database expertise, including SQL and schema administration.
- Strong background in DevOps practices: branching strategies, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and system monitoring.
- Experience working in Agile environments requiring scalable and reliable solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-player mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams, especially in Europe and APAC time zones.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Self-driven with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
